I also enjoy to teach Portuguese on line by English or Japanese or without translations as they wishes.
About Brazil image
Brazil is a country in development which cannot be compare to war or undeveloped countries. In other way, Brazil is called by economists as the head of BRICS new economy world system.
Mostly Brazilians are not able to speak English but most Brazilians will be very kind to try to make your travel to Brazil a real tropical dream. Brazil is not just Copacapaba, Amazon, Bahia and Pantanal. Brazil is also Sao Paulo, Minas, Rio Grande do Sul and so amazing places without too many tourist or violence.
In The world
In Japan, Portuguese is the 3rd most spooken language. But not so admired as the image of Brazil not be as good as the level of its official Language. In other countries this situation looks like better. Therefore, some Brazilins try to change it. In other way many movies, documentaries and also shows from Brazil and other countries send bad images about Brazil and in this way dismotivate the study of Portuguese and also busyness with Brazil. I hope this situation change one day. Brazil is a marvelous country with a marvelous people as all countries in the world. And we have problems as all countries too. I hope everybody can understand it one day by the power of the internet and no more just by pop movies and pop tv. Let’s respct differents cultures and make a real globalization of cultures and languages!
About Porguguese learning in Japan I hope these videos shoul be useful for your learning of Portugues…as the general action in Japan be to improve the learning of English and Japanese..steed of Portuguese be the 3rd language more used in Japan!
