I was bored so I translated this song. =D I’m still learning portuguese, so there might be mistakes, but I don’t think so. If there are mistakes, I’m sure Bruno could correct them. ^_^

This my favorite version of Part of your World (Reprise). It’s the European Portuguese one. «3 It’s sung by Anabela Pires and she has a beautiful voice. I really like the lyrics and well.. I hope you enjoy it, even though youtube screwed the quality of the video. *slaps youtube*

So here’s the Brazilian Portuguese version of one of the cutest songs ever: “The Cat’s Meow”, from Barbie — The Princess and The Pauper. Don’t be fooled: it may be a Barbie movie, but I think it’s really worth watching, especially for its songs, they are so Disney-esque =D

A few notes before the translation:

- The title is said to be “O Miado do Gato” (”The cat’s meow”) but she doesn’t says it at all in the song XD Still, let’s say that’s the title, ok? If the title was supposed to be the the part from the English “your baw-aw is the cat’s meow”, it’d be “Seu Miau É Tão Legal” (”Your meow is so cool”), which would be weird XD Personally, I think the title could be something like… “Seu Miau” (”Your meow”). Well, you pick the one you prefer
- I use things between { } when they are spoken words, not sung
- Things between [ ] are words that weren’t really there in Portuguese, but I threw there in English just so it would make sense
- “Chique”
- “Rapaz” is not really “boy”. It’s more like a teenager, an adolescent, a young man.
